Over the past few years, advancements in smartphone battery technology have been relatively subdued.

Consequently, any notable progress in this area, especially from a market leader like Apple, presents an exciting opportunity for users.

Renowned tech reviewer Jacklyn Dallas, who runs the YouTube channel NothingButTech, expressed her views to SurgeZirc SA.

Dallas mentioned that while screen quality and camera capabilities have seen significant improvements, smartphone batteries have not witnessed substantial innovation.

Therefore, any increase in battery capacity would be a welcome development. The leaked information about the iPhone 15’s battery life improvements remains unverified.

According to the insider who confirmed to SurgeZirc SA, the base model of the device might experience a 15% increase, while the iPhone 15 Plus, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max could receive boosts of 12%, 12%, and 11%, respectively.

It is important to note that Dallas believes the rumored enhancements, if accurate, may not significantly impact pricing. However, she speculates that Apple might emphasize battery-specific features in their marketing campaigns.

Dallas clarified, “While I don’t anticipate a drastic leap, such as going from one day of battery life to two days, even a few extra hours would be a valuable addition.”
