Another crypto hack stole $570 million of Binance’s BNB token

Binance suspended its blockchain network after hackers stole $570 million in BNB tokens.

Binance said a cross-chain bridge linking with its BNB Chain was attacked, allowing hackers to steal BNB tokens. Cross-chain bridges transfer tokens between blockchains.

The company said it worked with network validators to pause new block creation on BSC, suspending transaction processing while developers investigate the breach.

Binance has the most crypto trades.

An exploit on BSC Token Hub added BNB. Binance’s CEO has asked all validators to temporarily suspend BSC.

“The problem is solved.” They’re safe. We apologize and will provide updates.”

BNB Chain reopened.
