Eben and Anlia Etzebeth have now become parents for the second time.

It appears that Rassie Erasmus is not the only Springbok member to expand his squad. In the span of days, both fly-half Handre Pollard and his team-mate Eben Etzebeth have now become proud fathers to two newborn daughters.

The 2m tall lock recently returned to his Durban home after spending the last few months on national duty with the Springboks. While performances on the field may not have gone the way he would’ve liked, one thing is certain, nothing would have stopped the broad smile on Eben’s face after becoming a father for the second time.

Taking to Instagram, his wife Anlia officially announced the arrival of their newborn.

“One week of us…” she captioned along with a heart and praying hands emoji.

The actress and singer also shared a beautiful picture of their family during a moment of embrace in the delivery room.

Following the announcement, friends and family members all rushed to the comment section to congratulate the couple.

Among the list were Rachel Kolisi and Aimee Kitshoff, wife to the retired Springbok Steven Kitshoff.

Another internet user wrote, “Aww this is everything. Enjoy those little fingers and toes.”

The couple welcomed their firstborn in January 2024. This comes after they first unveiled the news of their pregnancy on the same night of winning the Rugby World Cup in France.

Since then, the couple has been thriving in parenthood and embracing the new chapter of their lives.
