Angeke Babuye MC adds Europe to ‘Dream Come True’ tour

Rising amapiano artist Angeke Babuye MC has added two European countries to his Dream Come True tour. The Malacosta hitmaker told BONA that he aims to share the authentic South African amapiano sound, transporting it from the townships to the big and bold cities.

Angeke Babuye MC gets ready for Europe

Born Njabulo Maseko in KwaThema, Springs, the musician will soon jet off to France from 28 June to 1 July 2026 and spend 2 to 6 July 2026 in Portugal. When asked how he decided on expanding his tour to Europe, Angeke Babuye MC simply said, “I didn’t decide, actually, I was booked to come and perform and showcase my talent.”

He will return to Africa on 25 July 2026, where he will perform for fans in Lesotho.

Having kicked off the tour in Tanzania and Botswana, Angeke Babuye MC described the tour as “wonderful,” adding that he had a stellar reception in Tanzania and hopes to receive the same experience for the rest of the tour.

A dream turned into reality

While speaking to BONA, Angeke Babuye MC elaborated on the name of his tour, Dream Come True.

Self-explanatory to some, the hitmaker remarked, “The name is everything to me. It just explains how much of a dream earning something this huge means to me. It’s what I’ve been working hard for, and putting more effort into making it a dream come true.”

Angeke Babuye MC entered the music industry as a lead singer at his church, later entering the entertainment industry as an MC in 2020. As his talent grew, the Metro FM Awards nominee collaborated with well-known amapiano artists, including DJ Maphorisa, Focalistic, and Uncle Waffles.
