YouTube slaps age restriction on L-Tido and Anele Zondo’s steamy podcast moment

Anele Zondo and L-Tido are back in the spotlight for a kiss that’s sent social media into a frenzy and earned a warning from YouTube.

During a recent episode of The L-Tido Podcast, things took an unexpected turn when the rapper and his guest, Anele Zondo (also known as Ney The Bae), locked lips in the middle of a flirty conversation.

The unexpected kiss happened just as Anele was opening up about her upbringing and career, and while fans were left gasping, YouTube was less impressed.

The video was quickly flagged by the platform as inappropriate, restricting it for younger viewers.

YouTube’s automated systems, which use AI and viewer reports to enforce community guidelines, appear to have marked the steamy moment as unsuitable, and L-Tido isn’t happy about it.

“Why is @youtube doing this??? For just a kiss, smh,” the rapper wrote in frustration after noticing the restrictions.

Fans quickly rushed to the comment section to weigh in, many siding with L-Tido and suggesting foul play behind the scenes.

“Welcome to the real censorship. Wonder how MacG does it,” one user wrote, hinting at how other podcasters seem to get away with similar content.

Another added, “Jealous guy’s reported you. You can still dispute my brother, relax.”

Others even claimed there was a coordinated effort to take the video down: “Allegedly, since you did good numbers, you were discussed in the WhatsApp group and the decision was taken to report the episode, prompting YouTube to flag it.”
