Maxwell is coming to South Africa

Maxwell is heading back to South Africa, giving fans another chance to experience his signature blend of R&B and neo-soul live on stage.

The Grammy-winning artist is set to headline two concerts in August, starting at the SunBet Arena on Saturday, 8 August, before making his way to the Grand Arena GrandWest on Tuesday, 11 August.

This visit marks his fourth time performing in the country, a testament to the loyal fanbase he has built over the years.

Known for his smooth vocals and emotionally rich performances, Maxwell has remained a favourite among music lovers, with a catalogue that includes classics like Pretty Wings, Ascension (Don’t Ever Wonder), Fortunate, and Whenever Wherever Whatever.

Fans can expect more than just a performance, as the US singer has earned a reputation for delivering intimate, soul-stirring shows that leave a lasting impression.

His return also coincides with Women’s Day celebrations, adding extra significance to the concerts as the country marks Women’s Month.

Vertex Events executive director Thato Segaole highlighted the scale of what audiences can expect, saying, “Maxwell is an immaculate artist with an incredible catalogue. He is widely regarded as one of the finest vocalists in R&B, and audiences can expect nothing less than an exceptional live production.”

With tickets already on sale and demand steadily growing, anticipation is building for what promises to be two memorable nights.
