AmaZulu Dismiss Pablo France Offer

AmaZulu have dismissed rumours they have sent an employment letter to former Simba Sports Club coach Pablo Franco Martin.

The former Real Madrid assistant to Julen Lopetegui was sacked by the Tanzanian side on Tuesday after losing the Kariakoo Derby to bitter rivals Young Africans 1-0 on Saturday.

The Spaniard had been linked with a move to DStv Premiership side AmaZulu, who eventually appointed Brandon Truter as head coach.

However, on Tuesday a letter offering Martin the Usuthu had made the rounds in the local media, leading the club to publicly come out and label it as “fake news”.

“To our supporters and the country at large. We would like to inform you that this letter and the news concerning a Spanish coach is 𝗙𝗔𝗞𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦,” the club said in a statement.

“We have neither engaged, offered nor appointed any Spaniard for the Head Coach position. Thank you.”
