AmaZulu Boss Cries Foul After Swallows Defeat

AmaZulu FC head coach Pablo Franco Martin cried foul after suffering a defeat against Moroka Swallows at Dobsonville stadium on Friday.

Usuthu took the lead just before halftime courtesy of an Ethan Brooks stunner but 12 minutes from the break the KwaZulu Natal-based side were reduced to 10-man after Abbubaker Mobara received a red.

Tshegofatso Mabasa scored two goals inside 20 minutes to lead the Birds to their fourth win of the season.

Martin feels like there are people who decide the results in the league. He was left furious in the post-match interview with SuperSport TV.

“If I tell you what I think, probably I won’t be sitting on the bench again, everybody saw what happened here,” the Spaniard said.

“Everybody saw what happened on the last day, four days in between, two games away and we are not getting points. I think we deserve two games six points

“Here there are things, person or people who are deciding the results of the games and even if your performance is better than the opposition, sometimes you are getting what you’re getting.”

Usuthu are now in eighth with 10 points from eight games, wining two, drawing four and losing two.
