Kaizer Chiefs have their top-three destiny in their own hands. However, upcoming clashes with Orlando Pirates and Sundowns complicate matters.

Kaizer Chiefs’ remaining Betway Premiership fixtures

Consecutive wins against Durban City and Magesi mean Chiefs are in fine fettle heading into the international break. They trail third-placed AmaZulu by a point, but have two games in hand on Usuthu.

  • Tue, 7 Apr: Orbit College vs Chiefs
  • Sun, 12 Apr: Chiefs vs TS Galaxy
  • Wed, 15 Apr: Magesi vs Chiefs
  • Sat, 18 Apr: Polokwane vs Chiefs
  • Sun, 26 Apr: Pirates vs Chiefs
  • Tue, 28 Apr: Siwelele vs Chiefs
  • Wed, 6 May: Sundowns vs Chiefs
  • Sun, 10 May: Sekhukhune vs Chiefs
  • Sat, 16 May: AmaZulu vs Chiefs
  • Sat, 23 May: Chiefs vs Chippa

Miguel’s disciplinary issues come into focus again

With key fixtures on the horizon, Kaizer Chiefs will need to be creative about how to patch together a back four. Zitha Kwinika has been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign, while Inacio Miguel will miss upcoming league outings against Orbit College and TS Galaxy after picking up his eighth booking of the campaign. That takes his tally of yellow cards to 18 in 53 matches for the club. Given Msimango has only just returned from injury, leaving the club rather light in central defence, especially on the right side of that pairing.
