We are looking for a Broker Consultant to ensure the day to day servicing of intermediated Employee Benefits clients and their advisers. Initiating and building on Broker relationships.
Driving new business through a determined servicing culture. Taking end to end responsibility for a growing portfolio of financial advisers and their Employee Benefits clients.

Education and Experience
Minimum Grade twelve (12) with Mathematics and Accounting
Three year tertiary Qualification in Financial Management would be an added advantage
Six (6) to Eight (8) years working experience in a financial services background
Employee Benefits and Client Servicing experience essential

Key Perfomance Areas
Fund Installation – New Business Process
Complete New Employer Application form with all relevant documentation
Draft Follow up with legal so that special rules of Funds are drafted, signed by Principal Officer and Trustees and submitted to the FSB.
Receive MANCO Investment Choice from Broker (if applicable)
Check and authorize scheme analysis from the Installation Team
Provide Monthly Report on New Business and Fund Installation outcomes through CRM
Section 14 transfer process (Monitoring & Training).
Train Brokers on the Section 14 transfer process, FSB requirements on Section 14
Advise Brokers on Section 14 requirements
Provide Brokers with standard FSB Requirements template for member communication.
Liaise with Brokers and or Tranferer/ee regarding FSB queries from the Section 14 Admin Team
Liaise with brokers and or Transferer/ee to get required outstanding information for Section 14 transfers
Checking all section 14 applications from brokers/ transferor funds before submitting to Section 14 Admin Team for submission to FSB
Provide Monthly Reports of incoming and outgoing assets
Provide Monthly Lost business report
Provide Monthly new business reports
Support Broker Portfolios
Provide New business quotes for new clients, AF Life and Binder Options
Handle and resolve Broker queries
Handle and resolve Client queries
New Business and retention targets on an individual and team level
Manage and maintain key relationships
Build trust
Attend Adhoc client management committee meetings
Attend Internal meetings and other broker or client engagement sessions and functions
Liaising with internal departments to ensure resolution of issues raised by brokers
Conduct Member Information Sessions where required
Identification of threats to, and opportunities for increasing broker support
Providing feedback to business regarding ways to develop product and service offering
Participating in pro-active marketing and sales initiatives
TCF
Ensures that TCF is understood and practiced. Draws on TCF management information (and potentially contributes towards the input thereof) to monitor progress in TCF and address short-comings
Keeps abreast of latest TCF information and guidelines
