AKA girlfriend Nadia Nakai opens up about her ‘special’ relationship with boyfriend’s rival Cassper Nyovest

Nadia Nakai is topping the trends after her interview on 959 Breakfast with Sol Phenduka and Sammy T, who is standing in for Dineo Ranaka. Nadia Nakai opens up about her special relationship with her boyfriend’s rival, Cassper Nyovest. She was asked how she left  Family Tree Records, a South African independent record label established in 2014 by Cassper Nyovest, who currently operates as the CEO. The question sparked as rumours are making rounds on social media that she left Family Tree Records because of her newly found relationship with AKA, who happens to be Cassper’s rival.

Speaking about her relationship with Cassper Nyovest, she says they are on good terms. She also acknowledged that she left Family Tree records due to growth, not her relationship with heavyweight rapper AKA.

“There was no spite, I could never spite Cassper. He gave me such a big opportunity to launch my career.”

Nadia Nakai went on and started that Cassper holds a special place in her heart and that she will never betray him like that. She stated that Cassper helped her to launch her career, and her relationship with AKA happened after she left Family Tree Records.

Branching off from Family Tree Records was bound to happen. I was never going to be with the brand for my whole life. I have always wanted to have my own label signed directly by Universal or whatever the case is. It was my plan from the beginning to have a label of my own, but people think l left because of recent things. But I left quite some time back before certain things changed in my life.

Everything was discussed, and I think Cassper appreciated it because he did the same thing when he was at WHP; he understood the growth. It’s not like he was going to hold on to me forever!

Award-winning rapper Nadia Nakai went on to reveal that her relationship with AKA was never planned and was never mend to hurt Cassper. She never interacted with AKA, but fate decided otherwise, and she fell in love with him.

In her own words, she said:

For the longest time, I’ve never interacted with this person until when I was about to leave Family Tree.

It just happened the way that it happened, and I don’t know how to explain it. I feel like it’s something that God did. I feel like I don’t have to explain the Cassper element.

She also emphasized that there was no blood water between her and Cassper Nyovest.
