Ahly Confirm Pitso Invite From FIFA

Al Ahly have confirmed that South African head coach Pitso Mosimane has received a special invite from FIFA.

Mosimane and his team lost the 2021/22 CAF Champions League final to Wydad Athletic Club in Casablanca, Morocco earlier in the week.

After the disappointment in the CAF Champions League final, Mosimane has returned so South Africa and is showing facing for a few initiatives such as WMACA (Women And Men Against Child Abuse), while he will also hold a press conference related to the Pitso Mosimane Soccer Schools (PMSS) on Friday.

But there is seemingly no rest for ‘Jingles’ as once he’s done with his activities in South Africa, he will return to Morocco during the international break.

“Pitso Mosimane, Al Ahly head coach, headed to Morocco today to participate in FIFA’s Program for African coaches,” he club confirmed.

“Mosimane received an invitation from FIFA and he will attend the program during the international break after receiving formal approval from the club’s board.”

Mosimane and Al Ahly will return to the pitch on 12 June, when his side will face Al Masry Salloum in the Egyptian Cup.
