Tip-top Au Pairs has an Afrikaans family in Parktown who is looking for someone to au pair for their two boys.

Specifications & Requirements

Previous experience working with children such as au pair, tutor, teacher, or realted work
Must have a driver’s license & own vehicle
Matric qualification or equivalent – must be academically strong
Applicants must have or be studying towards some sort of child-related qualification, such as education, psychology, OT, or similar
Must be very proficient in Afrikaans as all homework will be in Afrikaans and they expect that all communication at home should be in Afrikaans at all times. The 4-year-old is attending speech therapy and it is vital that he hears and practices with someone who does not have an accent.
The 8-year-old has ADHD, so homework can be challenging. They therefore need someone with a strong personality and who can be strict while being loving.
Also note full days are required during school holidays (with extra pay)

Position Description:

Area – Parktown, Johannesburg

Permanent position – start date flexible

Number of Children – 2 boys

Ages of Children – 4 & 8 years

Working Hours – Weekdays 13h30 – 18h00

Salary – R12000 to R13000 negotiable, plus petrol (AA rates)
