The news of her return first made rounds in March when she shared a clip while on set.

ACTRESS THULI PHONGOLO RETURNS TO GENERATIONS: THE LEGACY

Despite keeping the production under wraps, the publication exclusively revealed that she was at Urban Brew Studios, which appears to be the studio of the SABC1 soapie.

Thuli Phongolo’s caption convinced fans that she was returning to small screens after a big break. She captioned the TikTok video, ”You’re on set, but then you realise your true calling.”

However, the fan-favourite actress has since confirmed her return to the show with a string of posts, according to Fakaza News.

“Returning to Generations: The Legacy feels like coming back home,” Thuli shared.

“I’m excited to reconnect with the cast, crew and fans and to bring new energy to my character’s journey,” she added.

Spoilers have it that she will mark her return on small screens on 25 April. However, as Thuli Phongolo returns, the show will be saying goodbye to Six Nyamane, who stars as Nozipho Cele-Moroka.

WILL SHE BE TOO MUCH TO HANDLE?

The actress will be reprising her fan-favorite role as Namhla Diale.

The actress portrayed Namhla Diale, an IT specialist who is the daughter of Jack Mabaso (Vusi Kunene) and Lucy Diale (Manaka Ranaka) in the SABC1 soapie.

She took a break from the show in 2018 after joining the show in 2014. However, with her return, little is known if she will be too much to handle after spending some time overseas.

According to spoilers, this time around, viewers will meet a transformed Namhla.

No longer the awkward teen they once knew, she returns from her time abroad with refined confidence, international experience, and a hunger for success.

The question now is: will Jack’s dangerous world offer the big life Namhla desires, or will it prove too much for her to handle?
