She is a celebrated actress famously known for her role on SABC 2 soapie Muvhango as Nonny, where she played a drama queen who would do anything to pursue her goals. Phindile Gwala was born in December 1986 in Eshowe, Kwazulu Natal, and raised by her parents, who were pastors and devoted Christians. Apart from acting, Phindile has multiple streams of income which explains why her net worth proliferates yearly. As of 2022, the celebrated actress has a net worth of R21 million, which has the potential to increase if her business empire blast.

She is also a co-founder of a recording studio Ngandu Productions which she brainstormed with her Congolese husband, Armando Ngandu. Their studio aims to produce films, adverts and media-related projects.
