Angel, a woman who works at a sporting goods store, has told her story about becoming pregnant and losing her previous job as a restaurant manager.
The woman told a new worker that she and her children had been living in a shelter. They slept at bus stops before getting to that location, according to Goal Cast.
To give the lady the biggest surprise of her life, she was invited to a ceremony that she mistook for a company sales pitch. The CEO announced at the event that he would promote the woman to assistant manager and give her a $14,000 (R210k) raise.
Not only that, but the man gave her a $250,000 (R3.8 million) check to get her a place. He said, ”I don’t want you living at that homeless shelter ever again.”
Angel collapsed on the floor in disbelief when she received the cheque and saw the amount. In response, she said, “I’m going to tell my children that we’re not going back to the shelter any more, that we’re going to have our own place. They can be kids.”
