Khanyi Mbau is one of Mzansi’s finest onscreen divas with a life full of drama and is always making headlines for the wrong reasons. Besides being an iconic actress Khanyi is famous for dating rich men and sucking their pockets dry. Many believe she has built her empire from the money heists she did in her past relationships.

Theunis Crous

First on the list is the millionaire and businessman Theunis Crous. Khanyi met Theunis when she was still a teenager who had just started her career in modelling. Theunis was a married man, but he managed to woe Khanyi with his money and expensive gifts and Khanyi fell for it. Their relationship ended in tears after Theunis wife had to confront Khanyi for being a husband snatcher, and the news went viral.

Mandla Mthembu

Khanyi made headlines in 2007 when she married millionaire Mandla Mthembu who was three decades older than her. Mzansi called her names, but the queen didn’t care; instead, she showed off a baby bump on Instagram. Two years later, into their marriage, Khanyi dumped Mandla after his business empire was sinking. The queen managed to secure millions of rands whilst she was still married to Mandla, and soon after her divorce Khanyi launched businesses.

Tebogo Lerole

Following her divorce to Mandala, the queen met another rich man Tebogo Lerole. The couple dated for more than ten years, and the rumour mill has that they did a secret wedding at court. It’s unclear if the rumour is true because Khanyi didn’t post any wedding pictures or confirm the news. After being Mzansi’s best celebrity couple for years, Khanyi called it quit with Tebogo in 2020.

Kudzai Mushonga

Recently the queen has been decorating her Instagram with cute photos of her newly found Zimbabwean businessman Kudzai Mushonga. The couple has been spotted on different vacations and spoiling each other with expensive gifts. Khanyi also revealed that she is now engaged to Kudzai, and marriage may be on the cards.
