Chelsea are close to completing yet another signing, with João Felix set to sign a six-year deal at Stamford Bridge.

Europe

Enzo Maresca’s selection headache this season could just be getting more difficult. The new Blues boss will be unlikely to complain, though, with Felix set to give him one more creative outlet going forward.

As has been reported by multiple outlets, Conor Gallagher will go the other way if all goes well with Felix’s medical.

Gallagher is set to join a five year deal at Atletico after spending the past week training alone at Chelsea.

According to The Athletic, the Blues are far from done with their transfer business; and they could yet launch a bid for Manchester United man Jadon Sancho.

The English midfielder has been priced at £40 million (± R800-million), with the Red Devils expecting Chelsea to be among the suitors, with a few Saudi Pro League teams also set to show interest.

In Saudi Arabia, Al Ittihad are set to make a shock offer for former Liverpool man Sadio Mane, according to GOAL

Currently at Al Nasser, the Senegalese could make the move and play alongside Karim Benzema, with the Frenchman keen on having Mane join.

Should the move materialise, Cristiano Ronaldo would be without a strike partner, leaving Al Nassr in the market for a new forward.

South Africa

Closer to home, former Orlando Pirates forward Souaibo Marou has made a move to Bahraini side Al Shabab after spending 18 months in South Africa.

The 23-year-old Cameroonian made mine appearances for the Buccaneers after joining last year in January; and has now left on a free transfer.

Meanwhile, the latest on Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau is that there have been no offers for the striker yet in this window.

His future at Al Ahly has been discussed a lot of late. However, according to Soccer Laduma, the 30-year-old could play there this season as there have been no potential suitors for him.
