Ntsieni Moleto left Mshongoville in Atteridgeville on Tuesday, 23 July, to look for a job in Germiston – and has not been heard from since.

His distraught family is desperately looking for him.

It is alleged that someone promised him a job as a security guard in Germiston.

His older brother, Takalani Moleto, said when Ntsieni, 29, left for Germiston, he did not tell the family where he was going and why.

“When I asked his friend why he went to Germiston, he told me that someone promised him a job. My brother worked as a security guard before, but his contract was terminated.

“He was a very private person, and he would not share much about his personal issues, but I could see that he was desperately in need of a job,” Takalani said.

“We have been trying to call him since Tuesday last week, but his phone is off. We immediately got worried because he always picks up his phone when we call him. We are very worried that he might have had an accident and might need our help.

“Our mother has not taken the news well, and the disappearance of my brother has taken a toll on all of us,” Takalani said.

The family has opened a missing person’s case at Atteridgeville police station.

On Friday, the police took his father and his uncle to the government mortuary, but there was no sign of him.
