Amapiano artist and music producer DJ Maphorisa has apologised to L-Tido for being disrespectful to his mother.
The conflict started after L-Tido interviewed Sir Trill on his podcast, asking about his problems in the music industry and who was exploiting him.
DJ Maphorisa, rumoured to be part of Sir Trill’s issues, went on X to deny the claims and mock L-Tido.
L-Tido got angry and called DJ Maphorisa a coward, saying he never mentioned him directly and told him to deal with the people he had wronged instead.
“Phori you a f*cken coward Marete a gao. I literally didn’t say shit about you. Deal with the people you robbing, not me,” L-Tido wrote.
On his podcast, L-Tido also criticised DJ Maphorisa’s character, calling him a coward for repeatedly insulting people’s mothers.
In response, DJ Maphorisa went on X to apologise for involving L-Tido’s mother in their argument.
He posted: “I will take that L, sorry for involving your mom bro @L_Tido. Mama Thato Ke kopa Tswarelo, I didn’t mean to disrespect you.”
DJ Maphorisa, known for his dance hits and designer fashion, reportedly owes Sony Music R20-million.
