Shebeshxt is back to making music after a tragic car accident in June took the life of his nine-year-old daughter, Onthatile.
Shebeshxt shared on X: “Confirmed: dropping new songs next week.”
The Limpopo rapper will deliver Gibela iMoto and Motliseni Patleni to officially mark his return.
The tracks come after Shebeshxt took to social media to express thanks for the prayers and support he has received from fans during his difficult time.
Shebeshxt – real name Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke – spent two weeks in hospital after the accident on the R37 near Smelters Mine in Limpopo. His girlfriend survived.
The artist was going to perform at an ANC Siyanqoba Rally concert.
National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi said a culpable homicide investigation has been launched.
Shebeshxt is out on bail and expected to appear in court soon.
