Tyler ICU shows off new car post-breakup

Amapiano producer and DJ Tyler ICU is riding into a new chapter of his life.

The hitmaker treated himself to a sleek BMW M2 Coupe worth around R1.5 million, just days after reports surfaced that he had parted ways with actress Lorraine Moropa.

The new purchase was first revealed on Monday, 20 October 2025, when entertainment blogger @TheAudioLabSA shared a photo of Tyler posing next to his luxury ride inside a dealership.

The caption read, “Congratulations to Tyler ICU for purchasing a brand new BMW M2! 🥳💫”

Shortly after, the producer posted a brief clip of himself behind the wheel, chatting with a friend in a parking lot.

The car, still without registration plates, was spotted at Ayob Motors, confirming it was a fresh acquisition.

Fans quickly connected the timing of the purchase to his alleged breakup, flooding social media with comments about his “post-heartbreak” flex.

@yangamessi joked, “Trying to show us that he still has money 💰,” while @iamchris_onX wrote, “He would’ve spent that million plus on lobola, wedding and honeymoon if he was still with that baddie, and possibly not enjoy the 6-cylinder German engineering he just got. Congratulations to him.”

Another user, @MurphyReal, added humorously, “Yeah, definitely heartbroken, but this will heal a broken heart no doubt 😭😭😭.”
