Bafana Bafana’s FIFA World Cup 2026 dream is on the line at the Mbombela Stadium on Tuesday night.

For those who can’t make it to Mpumalanga, SABC will allow you to watch it live from home.

The national broadcaster has confirmed the event will be on SABC 3 at 18:00, where we could witness the end of more than two decades of waiting for a non-automatic FIFA World Cup qualification.

After Friday’s goalless draw against 10-man Zimbabwe in Durban, South Africa’s 2026 dream is hanging in the balance.

Benin’s shock win over Rwanda pushed them two points clear at the top of Group C, meaning Hugo Broos’ side must beat Rwanda and hope Nigeria do them a favour by stopping Benin in Uyo.

COACH HUGO BROOS’ PREVIEW

Speaking to the media after the shock results last Friday, Broos admitted it won’t be easy, but insists belief will carry his men through.

“We don’t really have to look at what happens in the other game,” he told journalists. “If we win, we’ll then see what happens. As long as it’s possible, you have to believe.”

The Belgian mentor said his players were visibly disappointed after the Zimbabwe draw but promised to lift their spirits before Tuesday.

“I’ll do everything to once again have a team that believes. We must try to win with as many goals as possible because it could come down to goal difference,” the Bafana Bafana mentor added.
