Former Banyana Banyana captain and celebrated South African football figure, Amanda Dlamini, has been officially named as the newest Ambassador for the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The appointment is a significant recognition of Dlamini’s immense contribution to the women’s game on the continent, both during her playing career and in her subsequent roles as a respected analyst and administrator.

Dlamini, who earned over 100 caps for the South African Women’s National Team, including captaining the side at the 2012 London Olympics, has cemented her status as one of Africa’s leading football voices since retiring.
