Job summary

Provide general administrative assistance to the Rhodes Business School which includes the staff of the Business School, the customers/students at the Business school and other individuals/groups requiring the services/products of the Business School.

 

 

The incumbent is also expected to perform a range of marketing, media, and web related activities to increase brand awareness of the School. The incumbent is required to provide high standards of administrative and secretarial support to the staff and students at the Business School. Financial administrative support is also required to staff.

 

 

Duties and responsibilities

Requirements:
Grade 12 plus 4 years’ relevant experience where such experience includes: –
Previous administrative experience within a computerised environment.
Previous experience financial administration experience, with consolidating accounts, investigating, and reconciling multiple accounts,

 

 

Relevant experience with website management and social media management such as familiarity with social media monitoring tools.
Previous experience in the Higher Education Sector and/or a Post-Graduate Degree will be advantageous.

Remuneration (Grade 10):
Basic Salary Provident Fund:  R271 182 per annum
Cost to Company Approximately: R374 041 per annum
