Musa Khawula apologises and retracts false claims about Joseph Groovin Nchabeleng

Controversial gossip blogger Musa Khawula has publicly apologised to Joseph Groovin Nchabeleng after making defamatory claims about him on social media.

Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Khawula issued a lengthy statement on Saturday, 11 October 2025, retracting all allegations he previously made regarding Nchabeleng’s relationship with actress and producer Connie Ferguson.

This comes after the outspoken blogger reportedly received a cease-and-desist letter from Nchabeleng’s legal team, following his earlier post where he suggested that Ferguson and Nchabeleng were secretly involved in a romantic relationship.

He also made other claims linking Nchabeleng to alleged business dealings with individuals connected to criminal networks.

In his new statement, which has since garnered nearly three million views, Khawula clarified that his previous claims were false and admitted to misrepresenting the facts.

“I fully appreciate that my actions and statements caused harm and infringed on Mr Nchabeleng’s rights and dignity. I therefore unconditionally withdraw these statements and unreservedly apologise for making them and for any harm caused to Mr Nchabeleng,” he wrote.

“I had no valid basis whatsoever for making these statements about Nchabeleng. I fully apologise for my statements and posts,” he added.
