Njelic reacts to claims of being arrogant

Amapiano star Njelic has spoken out after a viral video sparked criticism, with some accusing him of being arrogant towards a fan.

The short clip, which made rounds on TikTok and X, showed the Wamuhle hitmaker appearing to move away from a fan who seemed eager to take a photo with him.

The moment quickly drew mixed reactions online, with many questioning his attitude.

Clearing the air, Njelic, real name Tshwarelo Motlhako told TshisaLIVE that the situation was misunderstood and blown out of proportion.

“It was nothing hectic. I was just having fun with him,” he said, adding that he never intended to come across as rude.

He acknowledged that some people viewed his actions as arrogance but insisted that wasn’t the case.

“Some people feel I acted arrogantly, which I’m not,” he explained.

Njelic went on to express how much he values his supporters, stressing that he would never intentionally disrespect a fan.

“Truth of the matter is I can’t afford to lose a fan over a picture. If I refuse to take a picture with them, who’ll support my music? I’m planning on dropping my next project soon and I need my fans more than ever,” he said.

I wonder what Njelic said to him😂. pic.twitter.com/7MCE4QsRWO
