DJ and music producer Collen Ntala Mmotla, popularly known as Chymamusique, is officially back on stage to entertain his supporters after he was in a tragic accident.

Known for chart-toppers such as Can You Feel It?, He Keeps Me Safe and Lost For Words, Chymamusique recently took to his Instagram story to share a recording of himself performing for the first time since the accident.

“After last night, I can confidently take one gig per weekend only around Gauteng until October 17. Physically I’m healing, emotionally and mentally, I have therapy sessions starting next week. Spiritually, God is making way,” he penned.

In a follow up video, he shared his gratitude to his supporters.

“Thanks everyone for (the) words of kindness and encouragement. I enjoyed playing man. It’s been a while since I played music which is one of my callings, so it was quite comforting playing music, thank you,” he said.

Not so long ago, Chymamusic revived hope to many when he shared a picture of himself on his Instagram page, standing in the garden with his crutches after the accident. Captioning his post, he said: “It’s God’s miracles.”

The award-winning DJ was involved in a tragic car accident in August that left him injured in hospital.  Two sedans collided head-on before catching fire, leaving four of the deceased burnt beyond recognition.

Instagram users weighed in:

One user said: “There we go, there we go. This is good.”

Another one said: “Get well soon grootman.”

While another one said: “You and Kaylow should hook up again and make a song.”
