Inimba, one of Mzansi’s favourite telenovelas, has announced that they will have a one hour wedding special episode this Friday, October 10.

This is to celebrate Mabandla’s Hlathi (played by Sisa Hewana) and Thumeka (played by Zenande Mfenyana) as they tie the knot, after successful lobola negotiations between the Mfene and the Ngwevu clans.

Although there were hiccups before the harmony, caused by the bad blood between Thumeka and Zoleka (played by Lunathi Mampofu), the sisters forgave each other after Thumeka stole Zoleka’s husband, following her departure to the United State of America.

Hlathi and his wife-to-be have selected their wedding date, and have invited the viewers to celebrate their union with them in a one-hour episode.

With all the twists and turns on Mzansi’s favourite telenovela, it would have been anyone’s guess who would be walking down the aisle. The Mabandla family keeps the viewers glued to the screens. Recently, Zoleka Bikitsha has found love in the arms of her boss and partner Lazarus; and Qhawe is already with a promise ring from Mawethu, but will she ever forgive his ‘indiscretion’? It was definitely anyone’s wedding!

Not only are wedding bells in the air, but so is peace seeming possible as Zoleka and Thumeka embrace a moment of reconciliation, hinting at the much-needed healing between their sisterhood relationship. However, in true Mzansi style, drama is brewing…beneath the surface, a secret is quietly growing and is about to be revealed on the special wedding day.
