What’s you thoughts on Yusuf Mart’s position and performance?

Apart from that, here is what our analyser Senzo Sambo said about Yusuf Mart and Kaizer Chiefs FC quality last year.

“I’m tired of being positive. I have to say the truth as it is, no matter what man. You sign George Matlou, Siyethemba Sithebe in midfield, on top you also have two average players in Phathu Nange, Cole Alexander and you expect to compete for the league with those two?

Sorry attack me all you like, Yusuf Maart is the only midfielder we have but it’s very unfortunate that he can not carry that team alone. We really need to start signing players with character players who will hit the ground running like the Dolly Signing.

“It’s so unfortunate that Kaizer Chiefs FV don’t want the best defensive midfielder in South Africa, Bongani Zungu, just because he said the Soweto derby doesn’t excite him.

“No matter what a quality player is a quality player. Sipho Mbule is more talented and versatile arrogant on the ball

“He knows how to mark his own territory have you seen him when he was still playing his original position? He is a natural born central midfielder him and Mokoena were playing the same position. Sipho Mbule is so Damn talented and he is what we need right now a Chiefs, a player with confidence and arrogant on the ball, Mbule is the best player in the PSL.

“Teboho Mokoena is more of a direct player i wouldn’t be sad if we don’t sign him but Mbule guy’s under a coach who won’t limit him? He is the star. He has got everything needed in a player.”

Kaizer Chiefs FC will face Sekhukhune United tomorrow, in Moses Mabhida Stadium. Chiefs will face looking forward to get maximum points after losing all their last three games. Chiefs lost against Mamelodi Sundowns FC, Supersport United and Royal AM.

Overall thoughts?

In other news when we take a look on Itumeleng Khune’s future with Kaizer Chiefs FC, earlier this season, Kaizer Chiefs FC management through their media team, they made it clear that they are renewing Khune’s contract with one year, as a player. This means the management was simply saying next season, he will no longer be Chiefs player, but work on another role. However, according to the latest statements from Khun himself, his future with Chiefs might make U-turn, especially to those who love and enjoys watching him.

Khune confirmed yesterday that he is still pushing to get another contract. Itumeleng Khune is pushing for new Kaizer Chiefs contract despite retirement claims.

Kaizer Chiefs captain Itumeleng Khune stopped short of saying he won’t be retiring soon, contrary to the statement released by the club at the beginning of the season.

“That is also not guaranteed yet, it will depend on my performances on the field. Every player registered in the team is willing to work harder, compete for a place, and give his all for the team at every given opportunity,” Khune responded when asked about his future

While Chiefs’ plans were made clear in their pre-season statement regarding Khune’s future, and despite his reservations about retirement, the veteran shot-stopper says he’ll never wear the jersey of another team.

“I told myself that I want to play here until I hang my gloves, and I think I’ve done tremendously well when it comes to that part, and if I’m forced to retire at the end of the season then I can retire peacefully and start focussing on other things.

“But I don’t see – and I’ve never seen myself – representing any other brand except Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana.”

Kaizer Chiefs FC will face Orlando Pirates FC on a DStv derby clash. Khune might start tomorrow’s game after getting ninety minutes on a previous game with his side winning three goals to two goals.
