Justin Bieber trolled after Selena Gomez marries

Justin Bieber faced intense trolling online after posting a cryptic Instagram update just hours after his ex, Selena Gomez, tied the knot with music producer Benny Blanco

The Canadian star, 31, uploaded a carousel of photos of himself playing basketball in Los Angeles.

He paired the post with his 2025 ballad I Do. This is a romantic R&B track written for his wife, Hailey Bieber, according to Page Six.

Fans immediately linked his choice of music to Selena Gomez’s wedding celebrations, which took place less than 160 km away in Santa Barbara, California.

One fan commented bluntly, “You lost her, get over her.” Another wrote, “The love of your life just got married.” Others mocked his timing, with one quipping: “Benny: I Do. Justin: I do too.”

SELENA GOMEZ’S WEDDING

Selena Gomez, 33, shared stunning images from her wedding ceremony, where she wore a custom Ralph Lauren halter-neck satin gown with embroidery.

Benny Blanco, 37, looked classic in a black tuxedo and bowtie.

The star-studded event featured intimate moments captured in romantic photographs of the couple walking hand-in-hand.

Guests described the atmosphere as dreamy and elegant, with the fashion and ceremony making headlines worldwide.

JUSTIN BIEBER AND SELENA’S RELATIONSHIP

Justin Bieber and Gomez had an on-and-off relationship for nearly eight years before finally splitting in 2018. Within months, Bieber secretly married Hailey, then 21, in New York.

South African fans watched for years as people constantly compared Gomez and Hailey.

MOVING FORWARD

However, both women buried feud rumours in 2022 after publicly posing together. “It’s all love,” Hailey said in an interview at the time.

With Gomez now moving forward as a newlywed, Bieber’s post reignited debates among fans worldwide.

Many South Africans joined online discussions, with one Cape Town user writing on X: “Eish, Justin still looks stuck. Selena has moved on, bro.”
