Monnapule Saleng has been withdrawn from the Bafana Bafana squad for the friendlies against eSwatini and Ivory Coast due to illness.
Earlier on Tuesday Cape Town City had posted congratulations to their striker Khanyisa Mayo on his call-up, and this was confirmed by SAFA later in the day as he was confirmed as Saleng’s replacement.
Mayo is the second replacement in Hugo Broos’ squad after Kaizer Chiefs and former City midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane was called in to replace Percy Tau.
Bafana take on eSwatini at the FNB Stadium on the 13th of November before facing Ivory Coast away next week
