It’s already year three of the Carling Knockout, formerly known as the Telkom Knockout.

Stellenbosch FC lifted the inaugural trophy after beating TS Galaxy on penalties at Moses Mabhida Stadium, while the newly-promoted Magesi FC stunned Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 at the Free State Stadium in last year’s final.

How’s the opening round looking this year? The defending champions, Magesi, kick off their campaign with a tough trip to Durban to face AmaZulu.

CARLING KNOCKOUT LAST 16 FIXTURES

One of the standout Last 16 fixtures sees 2023 winners Stellenbosch FC host Kaizer Chiefs at DHL Stadium, giving Amakhosi a second Cape Town trip after their 2-0 Betway Premiership win earlier in the season.

Rookies Orbit College take on TS Galaxy at home in Olympia Park, while Siwelele FC travel to Soweto to face MTN8 champions Orlando Pirates.
