DOCTOR KHUMALO’S SOCCER CAREER

Dr. Khumalo played midfield for Bafana Bafana and the South African national team. Most people will remember him for his superb midfield performance for Bafana. In addition to being a member of the national squad, he also coached the Kaizer Chiefs.

Dr. Khumalo travelled to the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations as a member of the South African delegation. He participated in 50 games for the South African national football team, two of which he served as captain. He scored a total of 9 goals during this time, making him the 13th most well-known football player in South Africa.

RETIREMENT

He retired as a player in 2002, and his coaching career came to an end in 2004. He worked as a football analyst and broadcaster for television before taking over as manager of South Africa’s under-17 squad.

Khumalo has a number of coaching certifications. The FA License, UEFA B License, and SAFA Level 1-3 License are all included in this.

Khumalo has been actively involved in coaching and mentoring the younger generation of footballers in South Africa, holding coaching certifications such as the FA License, UEFA B License, and SAFA Level 1-3 License.
