Cassper Nyovest And Nasty C Issue Apologies For Cancelling Durban Show

Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C have taken to their social media platforms to apologize for cancelling the Durban leg of their African Throne tour. The rappers explained that they were unable to perform due to rain damage sustained by their sound desk.

Concertgoers were left disappointed and some are now demanding a refund for their tickets. Cassper and Nasty have expressed their regret and are actively working on finding ways to make it up to their fans.

Earlier this week, the rappers posted on their Instagram accounts, explaining the situation to their followers. Cassper wrote, “Durban, we’re really sorry that we weren’t able to perform today. The sound desk got damaged due to rain, and after a number of attempts to try and recover the sound, we had to make the tough decision of cancelling the show.”

Nasty C also shared a similar message, saying, “We apologize to all our fans who were looking forward to the show. The rain damaged our sound desk beyond repair, and we had no choice but to cancel. We understand your disappointment and we’re working on a solution.”

Many fans expressed their disappointment on social media, with some requesting refunds for their tickets. One fan, @_ma.nkosana__, wrote, “But why didn’t y’all communicate that y’all just left us in the rain like that? I’m disappointed, Mufasa.” Another fan, @mphumelelinyandeni_, mentioned, “Nah dawg, you were supposed to put up a tent. When you’re doing an event, you plan for an emergency crisis like this.”

Meanwhile, @unathi_with_the_teddybear criticized the rappers for not communicating directly with the audience, saying, “But to put it out on a post like bro, that is mad disrespectful. You could have sent one of your peeps out to explain to us what was going on.”

Despite the disappointment, some fans offered words of encouragement and support. @phumzy62 posted, “Everything happens for a reason, you don’t beat yourself up.”

Cassper and Nasty assured their fans that they are actively working on finding a solution and will keep them updated. They understand the frustration and disappointment caused by the cancellation and are committed to making it right.
