Orlando Pirates and Jwaneng Galaxy have confirmed their starting lineups for this evening’s CAF Champions League second-leg encounter at Orlando Stadium.
Following three straight defeats in all competitions, Pirates will be looking for a change of fortune this evening when they welcome the Botswana champions, who have a 1-0 advantage coming to this fixture.
The Buccaneers suffered defeat two weeks ago in Botswana which means they will have to win the second leg by a margin of two goals if they are to make it to the group stages of the Champions League, though a 1-0 scoreline would lead to a penalty shootout.
Assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi told the club’s media department that they know what is required.
“The permutations of the match are clear, the players are aware everybody is aware. We know what should happen,” Ncikazi said.
“We look at the match with a very positive eye, based on the preparations. We know what is required.”
