Former 7de Laan actress Beáta Bena Green has spoken out about how her application to Miss SA was rejected four times.

This comes days after the pageant announced its Top 10 finalists and its official crowning ceremony, which will take place next month.

Surprisingly, the star is a former Miss Teen South Africa titleholder.

ACTRESS REJECTED BY MISS SA FOR FOURTH TIME

In an emotional Instagram post, Beáta Bena Green revealed that she had closed the chapter on her childhood dream of becoming Miss SA.

In 2013, the brunette bombshell won the Miss Teen South Africa title. However, her bid to win the main pageant was rejected four times.

Beáta revealed she never received a call back from the competition.

She said: “I didnt make it again…Sometimes you don’t get what you want even though you worked hard for it. But you get what you need, and other doors open.

“It sucks. I would have loved to have made it. I know that I am passionate about the brand, the organisation, and the country.

“It didnt happen, and I have to sit with what I have learned”.

The gracious star wished the Miss SA Top 10 finalists well. She captioned the video: “To the remarkable women who continue the journey toward the crown: I am rooting for you with all my heart, and I wish you the grace, courage, and beauty this life-changing path deserves.”
