Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies will look to secure a spot in this year’s final of the CAF Women’s Champions League COSAFA final for a third successive year.
They meet Green Buffaloes in the tournament’s second semi-final at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium at 15:30.
The two sides meet in a repeat of last year’s final, when Jerry Tshabalala’s side lost, but it’s also a repeat of the 2021 semi-final that Sundowns won to eventually go on to clinch the continental title in Egypt.
The Hollywoodbets Super League champions have enjoyed a strong start to the campaign this year winning all their group matches, scoring 16 goals and not conceding at all to top Group A.
Meanwhile, the defending champions had it a bit tougher finishing second in Group A with seven points behind Double Action of Botswana.
