Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefi Ntseki has confirmed that Keagan Dolly and Edmilson Dove have returned to team training, while Ranga Chivaviro will remain sidelined and there was also some good news on Ashley Du Preez.

Amakhosi will host AmaZulu at the FNB Stadium on Saturday 17:30 and will hope to collect their first three points of the season, with Usuthu yet to score or win after starting with three goalless draws.

Chiefs, meanwhile, have collected one point as well as a win in the MTN8 quarter-final at Cape Town City but are yet to gain three points in the league.

Ntseki, who was pelted at with objects after their 1-0 defeat to TS Galaxy, has confirmed that Dolly and Dove are back in team training.

“We still have some long-term injuries,” he said on Thursday.

“I think you saw Ranga leaving the field very early against TS Galaxy. He’s going to a rehab of some kind. So in the next two weeks he’ll be available for selection.

“The other player who has just started training with the team is Keagan Dolly, he has been out for a very long time.

“And Dove also started [training] with the team this week. And hopefully when we come back from the FIFA week, we’ll have a full squad and all the players available.”

Meanwhile, Du Preez will be available for selection on Saturday after missing the Galaxy defeat due to flu.

“The team will be delighted to have Ashley Du Preez back after missing the last match due to ill health. The talisman has scored two goals in the three matches he played this season,” the club stated on their website.

Chiefs are winless against AmaZulu in their last seven games in all competitions, with their last win coming in 2021. Meanwhile, there last home win over Usuthu came September 2018.
