NETHERLANDS: Orange Knowledge Programme Scholarships 2022

The Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) is a scholarship programme developed and funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It offers financial aid to students who want to study in the Netherlands and complete short-term and long-term courses. Through the programme, the Dutch Ministry also aims to contribute to the sustainable and inclusive development of society.

The scholarship is available for both short-term (2-12 months) and long-term (12-12 months) courses. The fields of study that are prioritized are:

  • Security and rule of law
  • Sexual and reproductive health and rights
  • Food and nutrition security
  • Water management

The scholarship is available at certain Dutch colleges and universities. And the cost of the programme varies with them. But it is a fully-funded scholarship programme, thus covering expenses like tuition fees, registration fees, cost of living, travel, COVID tests cost, accommodation, visa, and health insurance. That being said, students should be prepared to pay for certain expenses out of their pockets.

Once awarded, the scholarships cannot be transferred.
