Lady Amar says she’s not being paid a cent for her hit song ‘Hamba Juba’

Lady Amar reveals she has not received any money from hit song Hamba Juba which was released two years ago.

Her revelation comes shortly after producer JL SA also spoke out, saying he was never compensated for his contribution to the track.

DJ Lady Amar broke her silence in a video shared on X by controversial blogger Musa Khawula on 23 September 2025.

In the clip, the DJ pleaded with fans to stop targeting her with insults, stressing that she is facing the same struggle.

“Hai guys, I also didn’t get paid for the hit song, I don’t know even a cent. It has been two years since we released the song, and just like JL SA, I didn’t receive any payment,” she said.

Amar explained that she had kept quiet until now because she is not one to speak publicly about disputes but felt forced to respond after being dragged online.

“Please stop, I’m also a victim,” she added.
