Manchester City and Burnley have announced their starting XIs for Friday night’s Premier League opener.
The reigning champions are facing the winners of the Championship, with Vincent Kompany returning to his former club as manager.
Last season, the two sides met in the FA Cup and City steamrolled Burnley 6-0. Overall, City have won their last 11 clashes with Burnley and are unbeaten against the Clarets in 16 games.
They have not conceded a goal in their last seven matches, accumulating a scoreline of 25-0.
South African football fans will look at for Bafana Bafana striker, Lyle Foster, who joined Burnley in January and was one of the preferred targets by Kompany.
Still only 22, Foster has scored once in 11 appearances for Burnley so far.
