Motsepe Foundation Championship side Pretoria Callies have completed the signing of Phumelele Nyembanu.
Nyembanu recently left Eastern Cape ABC Motsepe League side Amavarara after leading them to the national provincial play-offs that took place a month ago.
Even though Amavarara failed to make it out of the group stages, Nyembanu’s performances didn’t go unnoticed and he earned himself an invite by Callies, as they are building a new team.
The exciting left-back started pre-season with Callies few weeks ago and impressed head coach Kwanele Kopo after a few good friendly matches.
This publication can confirm that the 21-year-old signed a two-year contract with The Romans, which one-year option to extend.
Callies have lost the likes of Oswin Appolis, Nyakalo Raphadu and midfielder Sinoxolo Kwayiba all to DStv Premiership side Polokwane City.
