Businesswoman and media personality Thobile ‘MaKhumalo’ Mseleku has recently joined the list of media personalities who chose the hair transplant path for a healthy hairline.

Thobile started her hair transplant journey at Sandton Hair Transplant Clinic. A video clip of her hair transplant procedure was shared by the clinic. In the video, Thobile holds a mirror while the Dr marks where her new hairline will be. Later in the video, Thobile lies on her back and her fue hair transplant journey begins.

The hair transplant journey involves several stages, from initial consultation to final results. The first stage is initial consultation, followed by pre-operative preparation. The surgery duration is normally four to eight hours. After surgery, one can expect swelling, discomfort and scabbing. In the following weeks, shedding phase takes place, where transplanted hairs may fall off due to shock loss, but this is temporary.

For post-procedure care, the doctors advise that the patient follows the surgeon’s instructions, which is to adhere to post-operative care guidelines to ensure a smooth recovery and optimal results.

According to the clinic, patience and regular follow-ups are key. “Booking a consultation is the first step: the doctor needs to assess your scalp condition and the extent of hair loss to provide an accurate quotation,” they penned.

Instagram users weighed in:

One user said: “Who said money doesn’t bring happiness.”

Another user said: “Story of my life, dreadlocks happened sengshoda nje ngamashumi hhayi bosheleni (I need real money, not cents).”
