Maritzburg United chairman Farook Kadodia has confirmed that he has been inundated with offers for both Rowan Human and Congolese attacker Karim Kimvuidi.
However, Kadodia said the offers that have come for both players locally are not meeting his demands and preferably he will be happy if they take those from abroad.
Despite Maritzburg having suffered relegation to the Motsepe Foundation Championship via the PSL playoffs, both players stood out for the club in tandem in the attacking areas for the Team of Choice.
“We are looking. There are quite a few offers on the table for them both locally and internationally,” Kadodia told iDiski Times.
“But most of it is international. Locally the market is not close to the price that we want. So we will see what is going to happen this coming season.”
Kimvuidi was officially announced by the Team of Choice in July last year after he was signed from his homeland side in Congo DC Motema Pembe in the January transfer window last year.
Maritzburg could not register him at that time because they had exhausted all the foreign spots required by the PSL.
Coach Ernst Middendorp was in pain when they fired him last year and he was looking forward to working with him because he was a brilliant player.
He showed that this past season, featuring in 34 matches in all competitions along with five assists. According to the information gathered by this website, his contract will expire in 2024.
It means this is a perfect time for Maritzburg to cash in now rather than losing him for free next year.
Human, who is a Bidvest Wits graduate, joined the Team of Choice ahead of the 2021/22 season after leaving Beitar Tel Aviv in Israel.
Despite failing to score in the league, he was the club’s best player in the last game against Sundowns where he was named the Man of the Match.

He carried on with that performance in the four matches in the PSL playoffs, scoring three of the four goals the club scored.
In all matches, Human, who was given jersey number 10 by the Team of Choice, featured in 31 matches and racked up three assists.
