Orlando Pirates have seen their bid accepted for Marumo Gallants winger Katlego Otladisa.
The 26-year-old winger has enjoyed a career revival over the past two seasons at Gallants after previously after injuries severely stalled his career trajectory.
He burst onto the scene with the now-defunct Platinum Stars back in 2018 which earned him a move to Mamelodi Sundowns under then-coach Pitso Mosimane, but he arrived with a leg break suffered at the age of 21.
After struggling to break into the set-up at Masandawana, which included three separate loans to Dikwena, Cape Umoya United and Ajax Cape Town before eventually being released.
Gallants then offered him a return to football and he’s not looked back, becoming a regular feature in over the past two seasons, racking up 79 appearances.
His performances attracted interest from AmaZulu, Sekhukhune United, Royal AM, and Pirates, but the Soweto giants have acted swiftly to agree a fee with the relegated outfit who are looking to cash in on their most prized assets.
The player who is believed to have already discussed personal terms with Pirates is set to sign officially with the Soweto giants in the coming days.
