eNCA reported on Saturday, 10 June that the SA Weather Service has issued a forecast of a possible spread of snow fall in some parts of South Africa and Lesotho.

SNOWFALL IN SOME PARTS OF SA
According to SnowReport, snowfall is possible across South Africa and Lesotho from late on Sunday, 11 June until Thurday, 15 June.
eNCA’s Lehlohonolo Thobela from the Service confirmed that temperatures are expected to drop: ” We have a cold front that’s expected to make landfall over the southwestern parts of the country.”
“Mainly the cold weather is expected over the central parts of the country from Monday into Tuesday, with snow expected mainly along the Drakensberg and high-lying areas in the Eastern Cape as well as the eastern parts of the Western Cape.”
