Zahara is getting married

Award-winning musician Zahara, also known as Bulelwa Mkutukana, is set to marry her boyfriend and engineer, Mpho Xaba, in November. The couple got engaged in March after dating for six months. This will be Zahara’s third engagement but her first marriage.

She is preparing for two wedding ceremonies: a traditional wedding and a white one. The couple celebrated Xaba’s birthday on Friday and have been inseparable since their engagement. Another source said the lovebirds are practically married since he spends most of his time at her home in Ruimsig in the north of Johannesburg. They are always together, and she travels with him whenever she gigs around the country whenever possible. He has met her family, and they are smitten with him.

Zahara did not respond to requests for comment. Xaba proposed to the Loliwe singer at her home in Johannesburg with close family and friends present. She said at the time that she was happy and excited and that it was easy for her to say yes to him because she loved him. This is her third proposal after she was engaged to Umhlobo Wenene FM radio presenter Amaza Ntshanga in 2017 and Ian Sibiya in 2019, but later broke off both engagements.
