Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has named his final Bafana Bafana squad to face Morocco in their last Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Both teams have already qualified for the tournament in Ivory Coast next year, with Morocco winning their first two games in the group, which was downgraded to just three teams after Zimbabwe’s ongoing ban from international football by FIFA.
Bafana, meanwhile, qualified during the previous international break after collecting four points from their two clashes with Liberia – meaning they are guaranteed to stay ahead of the Lone Stars.
They will host Morocco, who come into this game on the back of their historical performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, where they became the first ever African side to reach the semi-finals.
The game is set to kick off at 17:00 on 17 June, with Broos announcing his final squad on Thursday. He had initially selected 34 players but had to cut 11 names from that list during his announcement on SABC1.
