Pitso Mosimane has added yet another accolade to his long list after his exploits with Al Ahli Saudi in the Middle East.
The South African had an impressive campaign with the Jeddah giants this past season, achieving all the mandates he was given.
Mosimane succeeded in awakening a sleeping giant, guiding the Royals, as Ahli are affectionately known, back to the Saudi Pro League.
And to add the cherry on top, the Kagiso-born master tactician went all the way to clinch the Saudi First Division League title with Ahli.
PITSO MOSIMANE WINS TOP ACCOLADE
Mosimane’s exploits have not gone unnoticed in the Saudi second-tier. The former Bafana Bafana coach recently bagged the Coach of the Month for May in the Saudi Yelo League.
The month of May was a huge success for Mosimane. He guided his side to promotion with four games to spare before going on to clinch the title.
In May, Mosimane won three games, drew one and lost one. His side ticked all the boxes they needed to achieve their targets.
Mosimane has previously won the coach of the month of February award when he guided his side to three wins and one defeat in that particular month.
“Thank you. I appreciate the award for the second month,” Mosimane reacted on social media.
“God teaches us to appreciate little things. Because one day after, they add up. We will look back and realise that they were big things.
“Sometimes it is just little things that makes one happy. Always appreciate and be humble of the little been given.”
UNCERTAIN FUTURE FOR PITSO MOSIMANE
Nevertheless, Mosimane’s future at the club remains in doubt despite the former Mamelodi Sundowns coach still having a year to run on his contract.
Mosimane recently revealed that he isn’t certain if he will still be at the club next season. This is despite guiding the club back to the lucrative top-flight.
